Being new to the American culture, and as an immigrant, you are constantly asked to explain various aspects of your home culture to the “natives,” ranging from food customs to foreign policy issues, to tips on the sexual intimacy, to religion and spiritual practices, to the best ethnic restaurant in town.

Working with international, intercultural, and immigrant couples and families has helped me connect with my own international geography, with my historical roots and beliefs, my ethnic and cultural identity. I rely on my own personal experiences as an immigrant and as a cross-cultural psychotherapist when I listen to your stories. Together we navigate through most controversial issues related to cultural transitions.
